This is so true - no matter what country it is. I am from germany and I was once waiting at a bus stop and there was this homeless lady, she offered me grapes while saying "you don't need anything else because they have all nutritions you need for the day" (that's when I realized, who she was). It's incredible and it saddens me, that we as a smart species, fail to overcome world hunger since it is not about capacity because we could if we wanted to... I'm 65 and grew up in a third world country. She’s been gone since 1986. 😭 Please don’t ever walk away from people that are homeless! If it’s nothing but a quarter; give it. The Lord will definitely reward you for it, & don’t judge people by their circumstances, because tomorrow it could very well be you that’s homeless, & especially with the economy the way it is!! I have one reason that is perhaps plausible as an answer. Some think that it is trying to call attention to this dude for being a “generous person,” by making it public on the internet. So yes, it is good to motivate others to do well and help those in need, but at the same time you must think outside yourself and wonder, “Are you doing this to exalt God and show his grace, or are you doing this to exalt yourself?”
