Honestly child labor is the worst part of Lagos. I remember when I’d just gotten to Lagos at the time I was always so shocked and felt bad when seeing all those little children hawking water or snacks and some even beg. I remember one day there had been a time I’d just gotten my hair done and went to a cafe to go get something to eat and there was a little boy who came to ask for money and I ended up giving him my boba drink as well as 500 that I had to ask my Uber driver for because I didn’t have cash. There needs to be like a child protection program in Lagos or maybe Nigeria overall but this was just my experience it’s truly sad 😔.
