Hi there! for today’s JAMuary I painted the moon :) it’s funny how there are certain type of paintings that look impressive but are actually pretty easy to do ^__^ kind of link painting clouds
The hardest part of this one is getting the circle right haha
But honestly had a lot of fun today! Hope your day is going well too!

LOVE the trick with deepening the black! I've always been taught to mix my own black to make a rich colour, but adding in a couple tones to an existing black paint seems to do the trick!

I've always used really large arm strokes to make circles, but I really like this method instead. I also love how you blend, I'm practicing adding extra colors into my paintings instead of flat ones, it's a tough habit to break! Great painting.
