And Ronald Reagan was overwhelmingly respected by nearly everyone in the world. The freaking Soviets respected him. Almost the entire world loved what the USA stood for. The Soviet population found out that they had been lied to and by the 90s they loved 80s America too. If we could get back to what the USA was like in the 1980s, it would change the world.
