Okay, so the issue is whether or not the leader was wrong for calling out the lady. My initial response is that he doesn't appear wrong FOR calling her out but was wrong in HOW he called her out. This is just from viewing the 18 second clip. WHAT'S CLEAR FROM THE VIDEO (FACTS): 1. The leader walks away from his place to communicate with the other singers. 2. The leader gestures for one particular singer to "go down" {to a lower key in musical notes}. 3. Without hesitation, the singer walks away from her singing position. 4. The other singers are shocked at her departure but try to stay composed while still singing. 5. The leader is oblivious that the lady has walked away. WHAT'S UNKNOWN: 1. What would prompt anyone walk off the stage/pulpit/riser during that segment of the event/service? 2. Was this the first time the leader has publicly gestured to this lady while singing? 3. Was the lady fed up because the leader doesn't know how to be discreet or respectful? 4. What was the leader's intent when gesturing this lady? (Was it to reach singing excellence? Was it to embarrass?) 5. Was the lady singer doing a favor for an ungrateful leader (perhaps, by filling in for someone else)? 6. Did the lady singer need extra help because she missed a rehearsal but doesn't like being corrected/directed? 7. Prior to this event, did the lady give the leader an ultimatum about his communication style? (Meaning, come at me again like that and I WILL walk away.) [Yeah, I took time to write this. Why? 🤔 Because I enjoyed mock trial while I was in school! 🤓🤣😂😁 LOL] Tai, keep us informed on the outcome! 😇

There are other reasons of course but the disrespect and the chalice manner of folk got to be too much.. I grew up in church and sang in chiors from the age of 4... It never got better, jus worse..

I am a musician and I have to help people with their parts when they sing. Take it from me on the other side. When you don't say anything and let them keep messing up over and over it's painful for you, the person, and the listeners who should be focused on worship. So no he was not wrong. And that's only a few seconds of it. He may have tried to let her know before that. Obviously it wasn't the first time or else she shouldn't have been so offended to walk off.
