When they first came into it I thought they were awful actors and when I heard of this storyline I thought “ugh, how sleazy and disgusting and trashy” but it’s been really emotionally done and well-acted. This whole storyline is incredibly sickening to me. I hope Darren doesn't go back to the depression that he had a few years ago where he almost took his own life. He'll have to confide in Nancy about his son sexually abusing his daughter and encourage her to report JJ to the police. Hopefully if there are viewers out there that are going a situation like this can find the courage to stand up and tell their story plus get the help along with the support that they need. Victims may feel like that they are alone, but they are not, there are people going through similar situations.

Thomas Oates from one Tom to another I completely agree with you. What I like about Hollyoaks is that every actor and actress plays their character very well in whatever storyline they're doing. Some Hollyoaks fans criticize the acting in the programme but the acting by everyone is them trying their absolute best. Most Hollyoaks actors and actresses over the years have been very good at acting especially all of the younger stars of the show in recent and the actress Lysette Anthony, and I hope many other actors and actresses prove themselves on the show for many years to come.

Wow. That was so powerful 😢. Huge credit to the actors in these scenes they were really transmitting the wordless emotions. The little boy with that stark fear for her and himself when JJ knew that he was protecting Frankie. The dad sensing something is up but indecisive on whether to step in. Frankie, with feeling that terror at first, but the hope that he loves her getting her to open up. JJ was a bit more subtle, but it came across wonderfully. The rage switched to frustration that he was thwarted and then to that smugness of being the golden boy.

And yet her mum will stick up for that monster. As per usual with a pathetic excuse of a mother and women like her. Darren believes her. He’ll pull JJ up but he’ll know his answer when he asks. He does believe Frankie. And so will Nancy especially if Oscar or Frankie tells her about the Video he saw and the fact JJ is the reason she said Nancy pushed her Oscar knows this as well. And JJ threatened him. However, the ones playing Frankie and JJ both deserve an award from this. To play this type of role is the most difficult role to play. And for them to have never acted before and to jump into this type of storyline and have done it so well is amazing. They both have done amazing with it. Suzanne might come around who knows but after what she said to her daughter absolutely not on like. Her own mother that’s been with her since the day she was born can’t see the signs and see her sick son for what he truly is, and yet Darren came into her life for 5 minutes and he’s able to pick it up. He went through a similar thing with Nancy, I think people forget this or some aren’t actually aware about the incident between her and Finn. And also his friend Luke Morgan. So of course he’s gonna pick up on the signs. He didn’t see it right away but looking back it all fits in to place. Also that’s his daughter. He’s the only one and Nancy that have picked up that something is seriously wrong with Frankie. I hope Frankie does come clean to Nancy next week or at least Oscar. That helps Nancy’s case as she doesn’t deserve to go down for something she didn’t do.

I'm a mom myself my first 2 kids were boys my third my only daughter. I've been in abusive relationships and I was sexually molested by my friends uncle when I was 7yrs old I was afraid to tell my parents because I was afraid they would blame me for it when I gathered up the strength to tell them they did blame me and said I instigated the whole thing. I made a vow the day I was blessed with motherhood I would be far more perceptive if something was happening with my child(Ren). How you help them can change there life and future. I never told my kids about my toxic parents and how they failed me but I also didn't want them thinking and knowing that they had no voice and they had to suffer alone

This was happening to my friend in high-school. Allegedly. After an incident where she told one of the teachers. It got out that she'd been shagging her brother. Or as an adult mind can comprehend being abused by her brother. He was of age though. I think 19. She had 4 so it was kind of confusing as to who it was. And also the rumour was it was all 4 but there's no evidence of that. The only thing she ever told me is she had a thing for her brother who was the second youngest boy in the family but older than her by about 5 years. She made it out like there was something going on between them. I was horrified and said he's still your brother even if you weren't raised together. They weren't raised together all the time because he lived with their father and she her mother. No one knows the real truth to this day. People will lie and lie and lie to cover up the truth. Even the victim will almost never be truthful because they have been conditioned to lie to themselves and everyone to survive. Nothing came of the allegations. But I know there was something to them.
