This young filly is new to the ranch was completely untrained. I purchased her a while back but due to so many other horses in training I only recently finished training her. She was disrespectful, defensive and dangerous! She had a phobia of things touching her head or nose which made haltering her difficult to say the least. One of her biggest problems was how lazy she was! She hated to run and getting her to lope one circle of the round pen was next to impossible! I noticed her cross firing and not finding the correct lead a lot. That could have contributed to her unwillingness to run as it could be potentially uncomfortable for her until she figures that out. The first five days of her journey are compiled in this video to give you a closer look at hands on training of a young horse! Thankfully she eventually learned to relax and be calm and respectful!

i like how gentle and calm you are. it kinda signals to the horse, "this is fine, this is normal. just an average day. there is no danger."

It’s nice to see a trainer work with a horse that’s not already broke, these are the moments we get to see the raw and rare. So thank you! You have such a good hand and this filly sure is feisty whew. I bet she’ll be a good one once she gets more confident.

Glad you enjoy the videos! Its a more realistic view of how training really is! Thank you! 😊 Yes she’ll be great when she’s trained and I think she’ll be nice for Kids to ride because she hates running haha

Does your video cam have a mic that picks up your voice so well as you keep moving? Or do you use a mic lapel clip?

I use a microphone on my shirt and connect the audio to the video later! Otherwise it would be hard to pick up what I’m saying from so far away 😊

She is learning too quickly. Our Desi horses are so aggressive they would not learn this much even in a month. Love to watch horse training step by step. ❤

She already has harness on her so she is not wild. I wish you show horse that never had harness on it.

When did I say that this horse was wild? I put the Harness on her in a Cattle Chute when I bought her. So just because a horse has a harness on doesn’t mean it’s easy to get on. I do have videos with horses that are WILD and that’s when I say they’re wild. Please don’t be stupid 🙃
