Pretty sure the gent sitting next to Valerie Hobson at 00:37 is John Profumo. Hobson is still married to her first husband when this video was recorded, but she divorces him the very next year and then marries Profumo. Profumo is the central figure of the Profumo affair in 1961, where he had an affair with a 19 year old who was also sleeping with a Soviet military attaché. The Crown covers the scandal in the 10th episode of season 2.
