Sean and Tim are the only two I’ve seen who take away the clippings. Huge kudos to them for that. Others may do the hard work but then they leave the cut grass strewn all over to “mulch down”… the company that provides lawn care to my housing development’s common spaces leaves clippings, also, and I can tell you that it doesn’t mulch down. It just stays there a thick matted layer. After seeing this treatment for years, I have a strong opinion about taking away the grass clippings. (Edit: corrected the spelling of Sean’s name. It looked wrong when I wrote it but couldn’t remember why until I rewatched a video of his.)

The branches are probably coming from the neighbors since they toss them over the fence That happened while I was cleaning one of my neighbors property. They didn’t see him out there so they started tossing trash. Or are they shocked when I went in with my cans and started cleaning And getting the yard cleaned up Funny thing, everybody sat there and watched, but nobody bothered to lift a finger 🙄

That’s a vicious little mower you have there. Didn’t blink an eye at the dense grass, or the branches hidden in the foliage. Australian made? Good on ya for tackling that mess. Let’s hope the residents got over whatever circumstances caused the neglect. We never know what battles our neighbours might be fighting, but surely someone could have helped out before it got that bad. I once let my young lawn go to seed to help it thicken up, but my neighbour helpfully cut and bagged it for me, undoing all that. Oh, he meant well.
