I just bought a Ryobi battery pole saw that uses my other tool batteries. Not a big saw because I have palm trees to deal with but makes it so much easier. I'll be replacing other tools to that as they need replacing

Haha same here. In my pj’s on a moody weathered late Saturday afternoon. It s such a feel good way watching this channel. I’m somewhat amazed that new tenants are expected to clean this shambles up. In Australia tenants photograph a rental when they move in so they don’t lose their bond or are charged for any previous damage they didn’t do. This would go to the Tribunal.

Something like this would be attributed to slum lords in the States. If they leave the yard like this, sooner or later the buildings will suffer also. Mice, snakes and all manner of insects would eventually take over. Thank goodness there are people like you and your Dad who genuinely care enough for others that they give of their time and of themselves. Your Dad really is death to weeds: getting down and clipping them at the ground level! Thank you for sharing and God bless you both!

Not today it aint. There are many , many more renters than there are available properties so people will agree to almost anything to get a roof over their heads and landlords know it and take full advantage of the housing shortage/crisis. GREED IS GOOD--or didnt you get that memo that sums up todays attitude on EVERYTHING!

@@raydavies2460 Or the property was left that way by a previous tenant and you are given a discount to sort it out yourself (we had that). It saved the landlord a lot of bother and was probably less trouble than getting someone in himself to do the work.

That would be just about cruelty to give someone a garden in that condition to deal with. However, since more and more cities are saying they can't afford to allocate money for basic help, you and your Dad's type of help is even more vital. Thank you to the Kress Commercial Equipment company for helping out. Thanks for wearing a face shield Ben, with all those sharp particles flying around. Again, it looks like your work of cleaning-up will be appreciated by surrounding neighbors as well. The items buried under the brambles certainly add variety. At 12:02, is that someone's yard in the background, or an area allocated as a community gathering spot? Pleased to hear there will be a new series (with Sheila) and that more of the critical repairs for Norman are on your agenda. Need to get a scythe there FC. It gets everything at ground level and saves the knees and hand clipping. Ancient tool I know. We used it for hay and brambles on the farm in Ireland. Lots of hard work as usual. Credit to the nation you two. 😊

The battery operated equipment is a great set of tools for smaller properties in urban areas where homes are so close together. They create much l less noise for neighbors, particularly on a job that takes hours of labor. No fumes wafting to the house next door either. Wow, you make it look easy. I am 71 years old. I worked in my yard today. My weed water sure doesn't do what yours do. I had to hand cut the vines or use my mind saw . Love my little chain saw. The big problem is that my hand is not big enough for some of the batteries to get them off the device. Companies need to have elderly ladies try some of the batteries out. ❤
