Come with me on a visit to the church of St Lawrence in Snarford in Lincolnshire. The church contains a fascinating series of important Elizabethan and Jacobean monuments to the St Paul family. The family were exceptionally wealthy in the late 16th and early 17th century but beset with tragedy and the monuments bear witness to this fascinating and tragic story of hope and of loss, and the remarkable life of one woman Frances St Paul, nee Wray, later to be the Countess of Warwick.
