Hi guys, James from Bristol here.. Great vid as usual.. Is this place somewhere near Bath Bristol?.. I've seen something like this before.. Wife swapping.. Loads of car keys about for the keys in the bowl delve.. Lol.. Yes, I think a few couples swapping, the wife falls for someone else then the husband does. The house needs doing up but they both split with their new partners. Not that I'm into that stuff but that does happen in that crazy scene, once they start dabbling it's the poison fruit.. What a sad story behind these abandoned homes,especially once belonging to its last inhabitants,clearly elderly in their years. These older homes are so isolated,and once one member passes away,everything else goes downhill from there.Hoarding also seems to be a common theme. I'm sure you'd find something interesting underneath all the piles of stuff that should've been saved!

I was very curious about the inside stone wall and what part of the house it belonged. Can you focus more on structure and less on papers. The porthole window was amazing for the 2 seconds you focused on it. Love your explores and never miss a video.

The square windows indicate Georgian - & the size of cottage door & the beams also still used in first part of C18th - probably some earlier parts the fireplace could easily be mid to late C17th - seems very added to from outside.

It’s such a shame the house wasn’t restored to its former beauty it’s been left so chaotic maybe he couldn’t carry on there without his beloved wife but what ever the story it’s another beautiful house left to nature it could be restored and be a lovely home

My friend used to fly the hot air balloon for the TNT cider company (the balloon was actually in the same shape and colour as the can). They used to sell this one and a rare edition black star version. That cider it quite valuable to collectors now, especially if full. Great to see you didn't take any of the items.

Interesting! Did notice something, when you point the camera up the stair case around 7.54 mins in it looks like white boxes or something in the loft hatch, but when you point the camera up again when Mark goes up, around 14.35 mins the loft hatch is now dark and empty?! Strange unless you had been up and moved anything?

It's great to see Mark on this explore with you. So sad losing a loved one and all the dreams you shared together is gone with them. Dave you never upset me with all the puns and jokes, as a matter of fact you made me chuckle. But in all seriousness, I want to share this little tidbit with you and others so there can and may be an understand to the puns or joking around. This came from a friend many many years ago when he was an EMT and this what he told me, when the EMTs would come upon a scene where there was a tragic fatality, they joked around only because if they didn't they would lose it and be ineffective on the job. The kitchen dishes in the drain date back to 1971. I remember my sister getting that same exact pattern for a wedding present. An the dreft is a baby laundry detergent they still use here in the U.S.

Looks like the WSF reg is a 1982 Mercedes Benz 300 series Blue diesel car and the D600 is a 1987 Rover 825 petrol Red car. If they are still on the roads they are not taxed 😅

My first chance to watch an explore in months and what a treat! You guys always make me remember why I love these videos so much. Upon first glance I did not expect it to be so large. It seems as though the couple wasn't very old and that is sad. From the looks of what had been done, they had a vivid dream in store for the lovely home.
