Speaking of clothes, I did a “karen” the other day at goodwill. I was looking through a ton of clothes and instead of looking at everything I just started touching the clothes and felt a shirt that felt like something. I picked it up, had no idea what the brand was. I looked it up and it was an Anthropologie brand. Very nice blouse.

I know you’ve been doing this a long time but I adore you and want to share some very helpful tips that work for me and also protect your neck and back. Get a backpack purse or fanny pack. Your purse dangles and could hit/ break something and wearing it like that will hurt your shoulders, back and neck. You can use a headlamp if you need a light and still film with iphone. They make small ones now perfect for women, my hubby loves his head lamp. If we know we are shopping for breakables we save regular size shoe boxes and line the back of our SUV with them so we can set each breakable in its box and they don’t roll around. Then we stack all the boxes back up and put away until we need them again. You don’t need the lid so they just fit inside each other. Just tid bits I’ve picked up through the years!

The vase is made in China. I had one with a paper label and It gets mislabeled as Fenton a whole lot. I am a reseller for the last 35 or more years and glass is my specialty. The dog that you thought was a dog planter is actually a McCoy cookie jar without the lid and cold painted eyes. It is common to find them with missing paint.

I love to ramble thru boxes like the ones in the park. That really is a Cherokee basket. We have one like it. My grandmother was friends with full blooded Cherokee family my whole childhood. We had tons of fun playing on the reservation. They are valuable baskets.

2A Thrift is only a couple of miles from my house so I used to go there often, but It got kind of crumby so I stopped going. When the store was under the old ownership it was called Second Avenue so I guess they tried and were successful at keeping both names. Very clever.

What fun!! That might be a lobster trap but it looks very much like a chicken cage. You'd have to live or work on a chicken farm to recognize one of those :) Oh a sale in the trainyard. That's fun! I love trains. The little wooden "shaker" that doesn't shake is a darning egg, for mending socks. The booth with all the artwork and all the plants is my favorite!! My basil grew big like that this year, too, in a big flowerpot.

Dark Glasses: the Avon was their Cape Cod line and were darker. Years ago I pulled several bins of it out of a delinquent storage unit and had to flip it. The stuff I found was a wide range of item types and still in the boxes. Not much value, but it did finally shift. 😉

40:12 Karen, that hat with the feathers reminds me of that famous hairdresser I used to see a lot on TV (90s & early 2000's, I think.) He wore that type of hat every time you'd see him on TV. He also did a lot of infomercials for his hair products. .I just looked him up...his name is Jose Eber...and he's still around. What a great haul...and the Longabergers for only $1 each! Wow!
