I went to every vigil and the march! That monster should have already been in jail, and this would not have happened! R.I.P Jill

I think the Australian justice system failed Jill Meagher. Adrian is a convicted sexual predator, and he was in and out of prison. The parole board didn’t consider the consequences of Adrian being a repeat sex offender. Unfortunately, someone had to die to change the rules.

"What have you done , I've only raped you" - "This to me indicates a complete lack of empathy, insight, clearly desensitized and doesn't understand the seriousness of it" i.e. the rape and murder of women . As a survivor of several sex assaults throughout my 67 years , this sounds to me that, that description fits most police ,sentencing judges and parole boards in this country ....

A work friend (pretty blonde lady) was approached by him at night on Sydney Rd, he seemed a nice friendly chap, making lite conversation, (he probably thought she was alone) and when her friends came around the corner, he dashed off very quickly (very strange).

Surely she would’ve tried to fight him off which would arouse suspicion from people on the street

@@Rubytuesday1569 I think it’s a very good point..in this day and age people need to be more aware of their surroundings and that in itself would be a good legacy to this unfortunate woman

What does someone expect going to different bars. Drinking boozing and offered a cab ride to her place by work colleague at 1:30 am but no. Decided to stagger home in the darkness instead of being home with her husband at a sensible hour.
