4 and a half hrs long for a portrait drama. But surprisingly I really like it. Thankyou for the video. I like female actress drama. This definitely wasnt a disappointment. She plays a strong character. Male lead always trusted female lead. I like how they both tried to defeat the scheming people of this drama. As they was quite a few not just the one. I also thought chemistry with both leads aint bad considering male lead is relatively new in the D/portrait drama series. Great drama overall.

Sadly it can happen irl. Elders teaching this kind of abuse for one generation to generation. The mother in law think they own her son wife and can treat her as she like since she the only elder in the house, they spoiled son as if the boys are emperor and girls are nothing but a maid including their own mother. In a lot of case when the boy grow up he would treat their female elder and siblings bad too. Since he used to be treated as important and precious.

She even said "it's normal for man to be bored of their old partner and search for refreshments" not long after the incident as if karma got her. My 2nd comment. I can't believe I actually watched this drama twice. I really like it and seriously nearly didn't watch myself for two reason as not alot of positive comments and it was over 4 hours long. But it was the female lead that made me stay and watched the drama. So pretty much bad guts got what they deserve too. Which I'm definitely happy about too.

This drama is a remake or revision of the Korean Drama Birth of Beauty. The original is better. It had a better script and plot development that kept the story complete.I liked this drama but the plot was too convoluted simply to be convoluted it would have been better to not try to add in so many moving parts without a good enough backstory. It was way too long for no reason. The script needed to be handled like a book and have an editor to go thru and say no not this, why this, and it would have been a much better drama. ML & FL did a great job. All the cast did except I found the actress who played ML s stalker ex to overact and have no subtlety, I am not a fan of her acting as it never changes the same tone same expressions from drama to drama. Give it a try but if your tired of female characters acting dumb and vicious because ¨ Ï love you so much" so you must love me, well you hit it on the mark with this one. The motives of all the female antagonists is excess love and greed for a man. Female lead in this drama makes very dumb choices. Adding a child into the mix was just another plot complication without a true purpose except to show a woman that cared more about her hurt feelings and revenge than being a good mom..Who thinks allowing your child to believe your dead and having them go thru that trauma and then live in a house with a women who verbally and would if allowed physically abuse your child okay ? Plus who would leave a child with 2 people who are willing to murder you and a mother in law who was verbally abusive ? Lets finish with forgiving the bad deeds of people so they can come back and do more bad things just to extend the plot. Compared with the original this was not a good remake but on its own not a horrible drama.
