Being on license is exactly like parole where you complete the majority of your prison sentence and they release you under strict conditions and any misdemeanour means you will automatically be sent back to prison to complete the rest that prison sentence.

This offender would have bern tagged on release e for a time,but would not be on tag forever. Being on licence for such a serious previous offence, means he would have had to report to his PO weekly, fortnightly, or monthly’. If he dose not report a new relationship, the PO obviously would not know, however, if he did report, the PO would have contacted the victim and would have told her about his previous offence. To be fair PO in the UK do have power to complete random checks on the offenders phones, email etc, and yes once arrested for the 1st offence he should have been deported!

Being on license means that there are conditions to his release from prison and that he must be in contact with probation officers. if you are caught in breaking the terms of the license you can be recalled back to prison.

They didnt watch him then, they have cctv footage in the area and after did what he did they went back and looked at the footages from around her home and he was there every day for a month leading up to the day he did that to her. My thing is though, that they knew he was illegal and could have ran him through the data base. I dont know why they did not pick him up on immigration charges.

Women can use this service to get a background check on potential partners as to whether they are violent and abusive.
