Committing to FINALLY becoming fluent in Italian, and I'm so thrilled your video was the first one that popped up!

Thanks to all those who want to learn the Italian language. Until a year ago I believed that few people in the world studied the Italian language, however, upon inquiring, I found that this is not the case. Thanks again to all of you. This language is not easy but your "teacher" speaks it very well. Greetings from Italy, I live about 40 kilometers from Florence (about 25 miles).

Hi Shea! I found your channel a few years ago when I was learning Spanish. It's wonderful that you actually moved to Italy! I got stuck on the intermediate plateau (B1) but I've been to Mexico twice and Latin culture will always be a passion of mine. For people reading this, even if you don't learn the whole language, language learning is still helpful and enriching.

Very good advice ! I have a tendency to use far too many different resources because I get bored easily. I’m going to take your advice and concentrate on a few key resources. One thing that is worth mentioning is that you can have completely different levels in different skills. So, you may be able to advance a lot in reading, for example, even if your speaking is very limited.
@SheaJordan6 ай бұрын
Yeah exactly! I think it helped me a lot to cut down on my resources. And definitely, I still feel like my speaking skill is lower than comprehension 😓
@thedavidguy016 ай бұрын
@@SheaJordan if you think about it, your comprehension is lower than your speaking in English, too. Think about some impressive person you’ve listened to. You understood everything but you probably can’t speak at that same level.

Hi, I saw this video and another one, I have understood everything, but when I watch on KZbin a piece of an American serie or movie I understand almost the 40% of what the say. So my question is: in your videos do you speak slowly than when you are whit an American? I apologize for mistakes, I'm not so good when i write in English, and as an Italian I'm happy that you like Italy. ❤

Sorry i’m so confused on how to use online italian club, it jumps right into conversational aspects in A1 and i can’t find the grammar?? I mean yes there’s a section but i can’t find the super beginner phrases teaching 😭

I just discovered you. What resources would you recommend that would teach Italian pronunciation? I feel getting that down first is a big help. Thanks.

Hi can i ask, do you recommend duolingo?
@SheaJordan2 ай бұрын
Hi! I don’t really recommend it. It’s fun but it won’t help you actually learn and be able to speak a language. You can use it for daily practice or as part of your study routine, but you need to do other study activities in addition to Duolingo if you really want to be able to speak a language. That’s my take on it! 😊
