Coming from someone who raised sheep as a kid for 4-H, this was calming to watch compared to how my sheep used to be sheared. Very nice table technique & awesome shear job! 💚🐑

How long since she was last shorn? Whew, that mass of fleece! And to all the critics.... tipping and then holding up a sheep this big is harsh on both sheep and shearer. The shearer was fast and careful, no nicks, no scratches. I shear my own small flock with hand shears, but they would be much happier with a shearer this professional.

Thank you! we cut them most often once a year! And yes, thanks for explaining to some commentators that we do not harm the sheep in any way, we love them!

SO ROUGH! Why???? More concerned with outdoing others with your shearing skills rather than having compassion and concern for the beautiful sheep. God bless the sheep! Cover them. Amen

Ya don’t always need to cover them. They need their wool sheered so they won’t get infected or very hot. It’s like wearing winter clothes in the summer for them if they have too much.

I'm a little confused as to how this sheep is either huge or overgrown. I'm looking around at videos for advice on shearing my pregnant ewe who is 300# open (and not fat). My smallest is abou 160# open and the last one is smack in the middle. In one year their wool is thicker than this. Lol. This sheep looks so tiny. I sheared them just fine myself last year, but them being pregnant now I'm worried.

You'll get a lot more views with a before and after of each sheep. Maybe showing the pile of wool too.

Интересно читать комментарии людей, которые льют слезы и вздыхают о стрижке овцы, а сами в порыве гнева, могут разорвать человека в клочья. )

Way too slow compared to Aussie/NZ style. The limitation would seem to be that you have to use a motor in the handpiece type shear. A good shearer could have two or three sheep done in that amount of time. The longer it takes the harder on the sheep.

Be gentle Misterm you are being rough. Is that necessary? 😊

You need to have a better bed side manner, you are aggressive and unkind to the poor babies. Everyone can use love and kindness
