do you rent your equipment for these jobs. How do you make sure you don't go in the hole when renting?

This specific company supplies the machine 99% of the time. Sometimes I have to go pick it up from rental company if they are behind on deliveries, but that wasn't the case this time. I get paid hourly plus dump fees so there's no chance of going in the hole on this job. You do have to be careful if you are renting for a job though. Figure in twice the rental time you expect to use in your bid, that way you're covered.
