Jason, when you said the roots were showing on the corn is actually called brave roots which you are actually suppose to see and it’s to help the corn stand up. Most of the time when the wind blows your corn down it will stand back up on it’s own….most of the time.

Where the shed had double doors like a barn, you could always put in a sliding glass door or french door and it would look super after you built on a front settin porch.

Talk with Mike & Lyssa with DD5 and Rox and Ant with CCR. As a matter of fact their Shouses came from Ron's, somewhere in Oklahoma! DD5 also found some that were "Repos", they started laying out a floor plan or putting up some studs, and either the dream died or the job didn't pan out! But much cheaper and we're still like new! ❤❤

Careful. Not all shed are built the same! I had mine custom built with 2x8 floor joists and 2x6 ceiling joists. May be better to order a customized shed and pay a bit more to have it last a lot longer. I saw some sheds with just 2x4 floor framing! Cant put any weight in it at all!

I laughed when you said house. When I grew up it was what we called our outdoor dunny, toilet. I am an Aussie. The rooves on those sheds are too low for me. To make those lofts work I would want more height.

Hello Aunt Swami -- Have you thought about buying a used one? There are some pretty good deals out there. You should look into it. Oh, and think about buying a shipping container. Whether a new shed to home or a shipping container, both need insulation and interior finishing's.

I use to recommend my home buyers to the Credit Union bcos they cut people slack when they run into trouble. Other banks don't. I use to be in Real Estate here in Canada. I only trust the Credit Union.

Since this Shouse is for just Swami, how about a Murphy Bed to keep floor space open, and instead of a full kitchen, a coffee/tea nook with an apartment size fridge for snacks saving space. I would imagine Tara does most of the cooking, so why build a complete second kitchen? I may be way off base, but just some things that might help! ❤❤

That's a great idea! And we are already talking that she will have a smaller apartment sized appliances and table. We think we can pull of a full sized bed so she doesn’t have to lift a Murphy bed everyday. All great idea we will keep in mind though🩵🩵👊

I purchased a 10x20 Graceland for a tool shed last year. It's built like a tank. I was out in it during a very nasty and extremely heavy storm and it didn't move, shake, rattle or roll. The veggie garden looks great. Your hard work is pleasing to the eyes and will be yummy to the tummy very soon.
