I'm continously amazed, considering the speed, at the really low revs the Hall-Scott operates in. It sounds as though it barely breaks idle. Great stuff from another USA colonists. Thank you Suzie and Ivan.

I am no mechanic, engineer or even racing enthusiast but I find Ivan's enthusiastic warm conversational style of presenting captivating! And remarkable that he seems to be able to kneel/lie down and get up with ease at his age. Although just a mere whippersnapper of 74, I have lost that ability. 😁

Lovely video, as always!!! Always looking forward to new videos! Fantastic result for the Peugeot, even from that footage, Eddie Williams is definitely flying! And Francois is a nutter, in the best possible way! Drives his car to events all the way from Belgium, with luggage and a beer dispenser strapped in the passenger seat!

Good to see Mallory & wish I'd gone to the VSCC meet as I live only 25 miles away! Lovely circuit for racing & spectating.I had a big one coming out of Gerards in practice for a round of the 1974 MIni MIglia Championship,rather annoying as I had already put the car on pole!!

Hi always sounds as if the carburation is giving trouble is it ? Ivan .Love the video thank you TEAM Shed racing .
@JohnSmith-pl2bk3 ай бұрын
I think the petrol tank works via air pressure.. so when Ivan pumps that pump on the dashboard that sends a surge of air into the tank pushing more fuel into the carb. If you forget to pump in air ....

instead of pumping plain old air to pressurize the fuel tank you could pump oxygen. Might do wonders.
@keithrushforth40193 ай бұрын
That would be very dangerous.. A single spark from an accident or something and it would literally go off like a bomb.
@retromechanicalengineer3 ай бұрын
Oxygen and hydrocarbons create spontaneous explosions. You are not even allowed polish on your shoes when you work in an oxygen filling bay.
