This video is just a quick update on the last week in the Shed.
Ivan and Suzie went off to Paris on the train to attend Retromobile . The Offy bodywork is off to get welded up courtesy of ‪@Metal_shaper_tom‬, who popped into the Shed on Saturday and the Sebring Sprite is in the workshop awaiting reassembly.
Plus a little snippet of John's latest invention/ modified dumper truck.
Next stop Auckland.

John's skip bucket works like a charm. What a gifted engineer and a true asset to the shed (shop) he is. Thanks for showing it to us, Suzie and Ivan.

Ivan where you have noises in a box section you can drill a few holes in strategic spots and fill it wit expandible foam. That should stop crap rolling around in there.
@martinda7446
@martinda7446 Күн бұрын
Great name you have! I know from experience some foam can exacerbate corrosion, so careful with that, especially if you leave the holes you made to introduce the foam open to the elements. Those rattly things can be a real annoyance... enough to spoil the fun! I'd do my best to pick them out. They have the 'rotisserie' jig to help.

Look after each other and enjoy your trip. 🤠😎 Sorry for adding yet another (third) comment! I can't stop my brain whirring after a new Shed Racing video. Really want to see the Frogeye.. Which isn't a 'Frogeye'.. (to be fair Ivan always calls it a Sebring Sprite, but to be honest I prefer the factory bonnet, which is iconic) ..back in all its glory. I really wanted one when I was about 17, so saved up... But so slowly the prices really started to rise from affordable for a lad scrimping and saving to double what I could ever afford (it was1980/81). I had managed nearly 400 quid and by that time it wouldn't get a running Frogeye. Fortune though befell me and I spotted a '67 Mk1 Vitesse 2 litre convertible in valencia blue at the bottom of our road for 400 quid. I found I was a little short having raided the savings to buy something or other, but the chap accepted 375. The car is still about, though with (I think) horrible wheels, seats and steering wheel. The standard seats were in perfect condition, as was the steering wheel - Hope the current owner still has them. There are some pics on the internet if you look up the reg. UYV 119F. PS That was in effect my 4th comment.
