I think weapon jamming would be a decent mechanic if it only happened to weapons below 50% durability. Doesn't make sense that a brand new or in perfect condition weapon jams after 1 mag.

Jamming can also happen because of faulty mags or ammo, which would be very much realistic in a setting like tarkov. Also taking the setting into consideration, even the 100/100 weapons definitely wont be factory new guns

jams do happen to new guns especially when they’re being shot hard and in full auto so in tarkov that’s normal

Nobody runs guns below 93% already. Changing it to 50% would make it so only scav weapons jam basically. I've never held on to a gun long enough to get its durability lower than like 80%

at that point just remove jamming, which would be good because its a garbage mechanic. overheating is much better because it isnt just a dice roll that loses you the fight.
