Prepare to be inspired as we delve into the world of preparation behind Sridevi Nrithyalaya's captivating dance dramas. Witness the dedication, passion, and teamwork that transforms each performance into a mesmerizing experience.
Tapasya - the training sessions, is a series of videos that will be published on a monthly basis (as episodes) on the last day of every month.
The students featuring in Tapasya series have about 6-8 classes every month. Each episode of Tapasya is a cumulative overview of what is taught to them during the course of the month.
Along with the training sessions of the children, Tapasya also holds inputs on teaching techniques from Smt. Sheela Unnikrishnan and useful tips from the regular performers of Sridevi Nrithyalaya.

SDNT has unanimously derived to this strong conclusion. Therefore, SDN or any individual from SDN would be not to able to grant anyone permission to reproduce our work of any form.

Walking down the memory lane.... My students were not allowed to wear gold jewels while performing on the stage. They can't eat or anything after wearing the costumes and makeup. The mothers used to help with hairdo and wearing costumes. I did all the make up for all the kids. It was a rewarding experience for everyone of us. I wonder how you manage to carry around and manage so many stage properties. It is a Himalayan task no doubt.

Wonderful peek into the backstage preparations of SDN... Makeup artists are no doubt an essential part of dance programs... But when the team does it themselves, it gives them a sense of greater "ownership" of the process and will infuse greater responsibility in them... specially kids and newcomers... to take care of things after the performance too... Great teamwork Sheela ji and Shobha ji... However, the cutest part of the video is from 6.19 - 6.25...😊 She was energising herself fully to be perfect on the stage which she surely must have been as it is with all SDN performers ..

Here we are spending much money for make-up. Actually after seeing this video we can reduce the cost cut for spending money make up for the artist and learn to do makeup on their own. It gives motivation and satisfaction to the young artist. Great work of both of you. Thank you 🙏
