@SheenasKitchen6 жыл бұрын
hey Hannah...yes should be fine as long the dough isnt too hard when your kneading it... as you really need to knead it until it soft and stretchy....and if the dough is too hard, you can tell it wont knead well...Maybe next time you could add little water at a time as perhaps my cup measurents differs from yours. Hope that helps.

Nice method can you tell me why my mandazi get mafuta inside as I fry
@SheenasKitchen5 жыл бұрын
Hi Linda...your mandazi will get oil inside if when they are in the frying oil they puff up and break creating a hole, it tends to suck up the oil.... So when rolling out your dough just ensure that your dough is not rolled out too thin and that your oil is relatively hot as if the oil is just luke warm your mandazis will also soak up oil... Hope that helps... Thanks for watching the video😍👍

Unless that is a special type of lemon 🍋 it Shure looks like a lime.
@SheenasKitchen5 жыл бұрын
Hi Tony thanks for inquiring... Lemons tend to vary in size and colour in different regions/countries... In kenya our lemons are green and usually medium small in size... Sometimes if a lemon is very juicy or a little ripe it might be a light green-lime colour. Occasionaly we might get some big green ones where the skin is a little bumpy though depends on season... Our limes on the other hand tend to be really really tiny and lime green in colour... Imported lemons on the other hand, tend to be big and what i would call more of a yellow color yellow-lime. I hope that helps..😊

i live alone..and busy how can i cook alot of stuff and freeze?
@SheenasKitchen6 жыл бұрын
H. M. For different food stuff... Stews,soups tend to freeze well you can make a variety of stews i.e beef, chicken, vegetarian lentils etc...ideally once cooked freeze in portioned out batches that way you do not have defrost the whole batch for one meal... You can also freeze bread and pop it directly to a toaster if it is sliced...Fresh fruits like banans, mangoes, pineapples, strawberries are also great to chop and freeze they come in handy for quick smoothies...
