Outward has many unique weapon types, and gauntlets are the MOST FUN to use. You throw on some deadly gloves and box monsters to death. How could it not be awesome? This weapon type focuses on fast combat with precise attacks and quick dodges. You will usually wear lighter armor for extra stamina, but it is possible to tank while dishing out the hurt. You also gain access to one of the most fun skills in Outward... Prismatic Flurry. This ability lets you activate multiple boons to hit an enemy up to 5 times. Which usually demolishes enemy health and looks fantastic at the same time. These are the 5 best gauntlets and why you should use them.
Outward is an RPG/survival game that allows you take to make an almost infinite number of builds. Melee, magic, archery, and even traps are scattered across this harsh world in the form of skills. You must have a large amount of money to purchase these skills, but luckily the monsters drop extremely valuable items. The game has been harshly criticized for its realistic and difficult nature. I had a feeling that the Iron Knuckles were going to be really good with the enchant but I didn't even consider the possibility of the Golden Iron Knuckles with the enchant. That's absurd damage, only 1 less than Tsar with Whiplash.

These are definitely pretty good. I really enjoy them because the AoE is really fun and they go through shields if I remember correctly. Unfortunately I think their damage is a bit lower than some of the better ones, but still an amazing options to take.

They are honestly the most fun. Not necessarily the best because its a game based on variety, but definitely the most unique. Punching monsters is quite satisfying for some reason lol.

Great list. The only thing I would personally rank differently would be to put Tokebakicit over Golden Iron Knuckles. I enjoy the high amount of elemental damage in conjunction with the chill hex.

Tokebakicit was a pretty close call for me. They put out crazy damage and chill is an insane status to have on an enemy. Makes these and brand better than most weapons in the game.

They were one of the bigger things we talked about in my stream of a gauntlet build. I didn't' love them at first but grew to really enjoy the high mount of damage. And come on, they really fit the part they were meant to play, look wise.

Another gauntlet you should mention is marble fists. Using enchantments weightless with this fist you can have an fast confusion dealing weapon

i use totem, with torment, it apply both sapped and weaken, + defense from totems and some other shenanigans, you're basically immortal.

@Sheenshots my guy, I know you despise the speedster tree but a full "MMA" build is needed. Gotta get that Sweep kick, Kick, all speedster skills, mana push, and possibly cabal and spellblade trees for attack speed and discharge. Or even philosopher for ice sigil for ice kicks. I'm sure you'll find something creative lol

You are very right. I mean when going full knuckles you have to go Speedster so maybe there is something there. Actually the squire set might be great and maybe porcelain fists.

I'd even go as far as to add the chimera pistol for engaging in ranged combat. Then I'd pop prismatic twice. Hell I may even add a predator leap. Lol flashy hands are the best kind of hands.

They are really fun. I noticed their damage was a bit low when I used the fire AoE, although the cold one seemed much stronger in general even with less of a buff.

I managed to get a set of marble knuckles and put a weightless enchantment on it. Increases the speed to 1.1 and puts confusion on enemies. Preeeeetty fun

Vigilante Knuckles, Savage Fang Knuckles(Favorable Wind ), Tokebakicit, Meteoric Knuckles(Inferno), and Porcelain Fists. Did not know about Golden Iron Knuckles, and would not use Tsar Fists and Vampiric Knuckles for reasons. The nice thing about Gauntlets is you can carry three sets. Vigilante Knuckles are better then Tsar Fists. I think that Savage Fang Knuckles(Favorable Wind ) are the fastest weapons in the game. Meteoric Knuckles(Inferno) and fire Varnish bring the DPS. Porcelain Fists are just a around must.

Bit late to the party but I just realized something and wanted to share. Tokebakicit is a special name. Outward was made by 9 dots studio, a native Quebec company. In quebec, we speak french but we have our own french slangs. Tokebakicit basically means "We're in Quebec here" in a heavily slanged concatenation of 3 words. "To" => On est au => We are in. "Kebak" => Quebec => Quebec. "Icit" => Ici => Here. Even fits with the stats since we have freezing winters hence the cold damage :)

Due note you can use prismatic fury with virgin knuckles and it will proc the explosion for each boon you have!!!!

Ooooo I did this with an ice enchant a while back and boy does it look awesome! Multiple explosion's that tank your FPS and destroy the enemy!

I LOVE porcelain Fists! My vampire character has them and uses with blood infuse. That's 4 debufs in seconds on enemies! My character is tanky because enemies dmg reduced and I leech live, lol. Raw damage enchantment to deal with resistances. Blood infuse ads some extra decay dmg, by the way.

The porcelain fists are the best way to inflict sapped in weaken by far. They are really fast and have great physical damage. With blood infuse I imagine they are insane!

I was watching your and looking at the wiki and now I have a weird question. Is the dodge on the Standart-Special combo affected by the alertness levels buff on "dodge invulnerability window"?.

I have never thought to test this, but my gut feeling says no. The combo is still part of that attack and I don't think its considered a dodge. Mostly because other weapon types don't have a similar attack so they also would not get the buff.

I wanted to use the gold knuckles, but I am having a problem with the enchantment Unsuspend Strength. I am following the instructions on the Iron Knuckles and the enchantment just doesn't work. Is there something else to it? So far I have been able to enchant every piece of armor and weapon I wanted, except for the Iron Knuckles. It just says "Nothing is happening". Can you help me, please?

Knuckles are just fun, they feel like a brisk difference from other weapons, much like the simple yet elegant sword. Swords are my personal favourite, but knuckles are just fun. Personally, I feel like Vampiric Weapons aren’t that bad to get, it only took me a few hours of using a weapon. I was just doing what I’d normally do but would kill anything that moves as I needed the damage. Just do quests like ‘Bloody Business’ for the damage.

The vampiric aren't that bad if you just play the game, good point. I usually mention they take a while so people don't expect to just have them. But you get them eventually if you fight through the game. I also like the process, especially taking them to the blood alter. Cool mechanic honestly.

You forgot about cloth Knuckles I beat the gold lich with them. I think the Astral Knuckles should have gotten an honorable mention here as well because they would work great with a hex mage build as they inflict Scorched and Haunted do not even need to cast Jinx unless you want to torment is all you really need to set them on fire I think maybe they are better than vampiric knuckles then give the honorable mention to vampiric knuckles.

I do a cannon pistol plus sweep kick instant knock on every enemy. Then go to town with your knuckle build and keep sweep kicking them into oblivion. Check it out!

I tried to do the legacy with an iron weapon with the unsuspecting enchant and it only gave me the iron with enchant not the golden, not sure why it did it that way

The gold knuckles are a curious thing. As far as I can remember they are the only weapon that gets the gold upgrade. Everything else is more or less trash or a tool. Maybe the developers thought that golden cloth knuckles would be a bit off^^ Personally I like marble for the confusion debuff. Also I think that porcelain fists make it easy to learn how knuckles work, since they are so forgiving with their speed and debuffs.

Still the machete is a tool for cutting the undergroth and while it is capable at inflicting wounds, I don't think it yould be a good weapon on a medival battlefield. Sorry you are having issues. Sometimes parts of the Heroic Faction quest can be a bit frustrating. It's the more technical of the factions I think. So the key you got should get you into the slums. Pigeoneye will need tripwire traps and spikes to distract the guards. Use this opportunity to sneak into the red door (I think it's red anyway) This leads to the undercity. After defeating two bandits you can walk up the stairs there and find Dawne. You will likely need to kill her for a key or she will give it to you. That opens the secret wall behind her. I don't think you need to cross the trap bridge ever if I am remembering correctly.

Best way to farm vamp weapons is to sit outside harmattan w luxury tent and sleep for an ambush repeat until completed you’ll get 2 bloody beasts 3 kazite or 3 blood mages when you get ambushed

This might be a great way to farm dark stones at the same time. For maybe a different character if you aren't using blood sigil on this character.
