@@djw8591 Future Farmers of America. It's an organisation in the US for young people to encourage their interest in livestock and to help them learn about good husbandry. Great job! That really looked like a workout! Poor girl! About a decade ago, three sheep were in a field that I drove by every day for 5 years. I never saw them shorn, they were out in all kinds of weather here in Nebraska. I called the sheriff's office to complain about the sheep every 6 months, but nothing was done. Their fleece was dragging on the ground, they could barely move, and you could barely see their legs! I took a video of them when they got close to the road fence one morning. I took that video to the Humane Society in the next county and the sheriff's office there, and FINALLY some action was taken. The next week they were gone. I always wondered how much fleece came off of them. Two years later I finally heard why they were in this condition, the old man who had them passed on and the living family members just abandoned them. I am glad this girl is going to see a second life somewhere.

I imagine wave after wave of cool air caressing her newly exposed skin. That and the soothing vibrations of the sheer. Maybe a little scary, but she is happy. You did a good job. She will be happy to see you again.

I'm so glad you're the one helping this sheep. That was pure neglect and cruelty. God bless you for being so considerate and professional!👍👍👍
