Exactly, any bag will make you a target, some will make you look more like a victim or easy pickings than others, carry what ever you can protect, people always talking nonsense and I'm sure that most critics dont even have a readiness bag, my respect for taking action

Some cool items in there for sure but lots of duplication that adds up in weight. Two things stuck out to me: 1. Your IFAK is in the bottom of the main compartment. I’d seriously recommend having it more accessible. What if someone else needs to use it? 2. That bag will draw attention & make you a potential target. Folks will know you have goodies in there. Sorry if this came off as too critical. Just want you to be safe. Thank you for posting.

Hot Shot I didn’t intend to be overly critical. And I do have a thoroughly equipped EDC backpack along with supplies in my trunk and bugout bags for each family member. In addition to all that, I do have plenty of supplies for bugging in. Also, have alternate locations to go to and a cache of other supplies stored nearby. Not saying I’m an expert but am always looking to improve my emergency preparedness skills incrementally.

@@T.Sizzle I see your point, my comment was not directed to you, I read your comment, the point I'm trying to get across is that his bag is an EDC not a bug out or 72hr bag, EDC has to do with personal items an individual deems adequate to have all the time, it doesn't even need to be practical like a bug out or 72hr bag needs to be. Sir, Kudos to you for keeping the kit with you daily! But, Empty all your contents onto a table to Identify Excess Items & Shortages, and maybe Save Weight. Recommend 1.Replace one of the Kubotans with Wool-blend Socks & foot powder. 2.Replace one of the small MOLLE Bags with a Rigid Case for your eyeglasses. 3.Didnt see a Water container. 4.Add CPR mask if Medical Support is the main effort. 5.Replace a couple of the small metal objects with Map & Compass to get home. 6.Replace another small metal object with 2-3 large heavy duty trash bags. 7.Keep up the good work and Biking!!

Why so many duplicates? If you had 1 good knife and 1 good multitool you would of saved enough to but the 5.11 rush. Whatever situation you find yourself in you'd end up dead by the time you make your mind up which pry bar and what colour paracord you want to use to try and find your first aid kit.

Just scratching my head with the grappling hook in your edc. It looks unused which is not surprising considering the only rope you have is paracord. Not being funny but I really wouldn't reccomend climbing with paracord.

This backpack is a replica of 5.11 Rush 12 series and the pouch under radio is a replica of Maxpedition M-1 pouch..... in simple eye you can see how low quality it is. However the video is great, thanks bud. Take a try Maxpedition staffs.

Ask any 68whisky. Medical in the bottom of the bag although not ideal is really not that big of an issue. Seems to be an internet nitpick. I’ve never had someone pass away because I had to retrieve an item from my bag. These youtube medics make it seem like a civy shouldn’t leave the house without three tourniquet’s duck taped to your face for high speed ops.

There's a lot of unnecessary gadgets and tools in there, many duplicated. So much stuff dangling off the outside of your bag like a Christmas tree too. The IFAK was pretty decent, but it would've made more sense to have it in a more accessible place. Just my thoughts, each to their own.
