I sure like the Vardo. I'm impressed with your ingenuity, as always. That's going to be very comfy and still have all the basics right at your fingertips. I really like the idea of using the chemical toilet solution in your bucket toilet. Thanks again, and all the best to you.

Wahoo! Nice seeing how it’s coming together! I like how you’re showing folks how to use re-purposed items (like the desk) for things that can be useful in that ‘lil space. I TOTALLY have to buy one of those fridges/freezers! (I’ve already spent $1,000’s off the products you recommend and will continue to do so). My ‘lil 8x12 tiny shed to cabin is coming together already based on things you’ve recommended. IN FACT, tomorrow I’ll be picking up things from town that I ordered, many of which you recommended, such as the ventless propane heater, and the charge controller for solar that are going to make my life in the tiny cabin very nice. I know you mentioned I’ll be swinging by this weekend, so hopefully the rain will clear (yep folks, it has been raining ever since he posted this video today), and we can still hang out together! *high-five*

The only thing I do if I was going build one of these myself is just simply add some foam board insulation. Then for electrical if I was going to do hard wiring electrical I build a spot for battery and fusebox add some those Rv interior led dc lights in ceiling and few dc Usb combo outlets on the walls and power invertor. Now if I was just using a power station. I just simply get those 3m peel and stick hooks and just some of those hanging usb led bulbs or some those peel and stick usb lights or some strings lights. Now if i was going make this for two people to stay in then just add vertically two twin beds on each side of the camper then in middle add break down rv dinette table one those that have pole in center holding the table up. If I was going to do a two person style. Now if I was going to do a single person it just be similar to what you did but a twin bed instead and maybe a few wall mount cabinets with lockable door like ya see on some rv camper. Then for cooking a small butane stove or small griddle . For heating I get one of those cubic mini woodstove and in stall that for heating since they don't take up whole lot of space.

I have been using a butane/ propane burner to test it out before winter and a power outage been cooking breakfast and making coffee for nearly a week on 8oz of butane and it cooks faster than the house electric stove.

Hey, Mr. Cabin. I have an idea for you that you might have already thought of or you might already do it differently. That is, having a way to know what the temperature is inside your Vardo such as a traditional red mercury thermometer attached inside on one of the walls somewhere. Just an idea. Great video. It's really nice to see the inside of your Vardo! 😀

I designed it so it can be insulated with 1.5 inch foamcore and that is in the plans.
