Many Boxing fans had hoped to see Hamzah Sheeraz against Chris Eubank Jr however, Gareth feels Eubank Jr doesn't need to fight Sheeraz as he doesn't gain as much as Sheeraz!

Eubank Jr will be 35 next month and he's never stepped up to fight anyone at the elite level, added to that he rarely he ever fights, the guy is an exhibition fighter just looking for a decent pay cheque now and again. His next opponent is another punch bag where he gets to showboat like an up and coming prospect doing a job on a journeyman. Not sure why anyone takes him seriously.

After his fight with Tyler Denny, Sheeraz needs to get the WBA first from the Winner of Lara vs Garcia, then a fight for the WBC Carlos Adames win that while Chris Eubank Jr is having his warm up fights, then he has the spotlight for a EUbank Jr fight

Neither one needs the other. If I was Sheeraz I'd be looking at moving for a 160 world title shot asap whilst he is young and can make 160 without being compromised on fight night. Then move up to 168 when the time is right and do work there.

EUBANK-SHEERAZ SUMMER 2025! In my opinion, the fight makes a lot of sense for Eubank next year. Eubank will be making Saudi money on a riyadh season card and potentially winning a world title if Hamzah does actually fight Carlos Adames next for the WBC and wins it like I think he will. Also not many big name fights left for Eubank. Bjs is way out of shape, bud only seems to want canelo + they share the same trainer. He'll probably wait out for conor benn or canelo. He's already ducked the WBO and IBF champ in Janibek even though he hasn't ever won a world title lol. However, he did mention lara who's a 40+ y/o champ and realistically the only champ eubank has a chance against.

Agree with Ade here , why a warm up fight , and also the unknown fighters Gareth mentioned are all Eubank is worth fighting . Overated , gets paid off tge back of his name ( C'mon ). Whenever this guy steps up to world level he gets beat. Eubank NEEDS Sheeraz , i would say. Like Frank said , Eubank hasn't got the balls and doesn't want to lose face to Sheeraz. The Wardley/Clark fight should be above Eubank too
