I adore eye masks. I pop them in the fridge and use them whenever my allergies flare up. I go through a lot of them because I'm allergic to something in my barn.

I’m going along with the project and it’s going strange. I used up all my eye masks last month. I would put a pair on before my commute to work, keep them on for the whole drive, and take them off before I got out of my car. I loved doing that and I honestly miss it. It was a nice little wake up in the morning. I am tempted to go buy a tub of the good molecules ones and start doing that again.

Those gel lip masks took me right back to my undergrad days of bacteriology labs. They look a lot like growth media even without the addition of those delightful visible microbial colonies!

This has inspired me to try and use up the sheet masks I have aquired since lockdowns! While I know the aim is to use them all up not plan a restock, i really like the cosrx snail eye patches. Partially as theyre not individually wrapped so that avoids the part of my brain that tells me to squirell them away and they just sit on my desk so when i'm working from home I can throw a pair on easily. So if you really like the eye patches beyond just using them up that may be a good way to go.

I have had a few packs of eye patches like that and I still rarely used them. My biggest issue is that if I don’t use them, then they dry up. I think I’m better suited for individually wrapped ones 😅

I have sheet masks, I’ve taken them on trips. Haven’t used one in years 😂. Mold in a sealed container is extra icky!!!

Ive not done so well this check in 🙈 i did find a pack of twelve coz-rx pimple patches still in date by ages but had white furry dots on them and i just cant bring myself to put it on my face. Otherwise ive used up 4 face masks and 6 "other" masks 🙈

Ok well now I'm scared about Bioeffect closing because their face and eye serums are two of my most important skincare products. I'll be gutted if they go into administration; I hate finding new favourites when something worked.

I honestly didn't mention it because I don't really remember haha. It likely is the Hourglass Confession Ultra Slim Lipstick in You Are My, but I just threw something on to quickly film and I didn't pay much attention to it 😅

I like to follow mud masks with sheet masks so that I benefit from the mud pulling the gunk out of my skin but then follow with a hydrating sheet mask to counteract dryness

Just be careful, often the gunk being pulled out is oils that your skin needs to maintain it's barrier

aaaaahhhh tits, thank you for the reminder i have masks i need to use up! lol just did a count and i have 8 - just used one before a shower this evening, i used a manuka honey hydrating mask and it made my skin burn, soooo that's not a repurchase xD i haven't used many simply because there's not many for sensitive skin except for Sukin, and as for lip masks, i can't shut up sooo lip balm it is!! 🤣 i really oughta use the under eye ones more.

A mask is worth the money only if it is luxurious. I can deal if it isn't super effective, but anything that isn't luxurious can F right off, I won't buy it. The only exception being Ahava Mud which is first aid for rashes (especially medication rash reactions). I keep a pack of that mud in the cupboard at all times, and one of their salts, the rest of their products are not effective. Can't tell you how many times I've had to use Ahava mud on myself or my son. My son gets detergent reactions, shower soaps and laundry products. I wonder, did your hyaluronic acid contribute to the pore strip soreness? I am convinced HA is damaging to the skin, and not reparative at all.
