Both players did well, but for me, Sheetal devi is the winner...i dont know how to shoot a bow with such an accuracy...she is showing how to shoot a bow to us with her legs, amazing feeling...mountain of respect...sheetal won in her life as we are still crying in corner

Being an archer myself, i think that sitting in a chair is actually an advantage. The chair does not move. There should be a separate class for archers with no limbs. Kudos to these young ladies!!!!

So sorry to say you Mam but Paralympic is the game where disabled people can play with having any kind of disability. It doesn’t matter whether you have hand or not . If Sheetal Devi Ji don’t have hands then her opponents don’t have legs. So it means that it’s a fair game . We should be proud that we have amazing players who are contributing to the game and representing the nation at Paralympic. DONT CRITICISE THEM MAM

I am not critising anyone as both the players were amazing and did their best but I just felt it was an unfair game. Offcourse both the players have made their country proud. @@thomastraspedini9199when that leg is being used for archery its more difficult. Archer with arms and eyes and making proper position on wheelchair is better for archery.. archer with sitting position ,using legs for aiming and not able yo tilt body sideways for aiming is extraordinary.

Certainly sitting with the use of both arms is advantageous compared to a person using their legs to pull (of course it is very difficult to perfectly reproduce the movement and balance the body if you have to use your legs to pull...). My argument relates to shooting seated versus standing, as it has been said several times in the comments that a seated archer may well compete on equal terms with a standing archer. However, bear in mind that athletes in any discipline tend to introduce techniques, positions and movements that prove advantageous (if the rules allow). If sitting, perhaps even with straps on the torso to maintain the position, were advantageous, we would see it applied to the technique of the champions, if only for a statistical question (if it were an advantage, with equal skill the seated one would win). In the years that I have been practising archery I have never had this feeling, nor has anyone in the club or in competitions, indeed the legs and torso (best used in a standing position) have always played an essential role in achieving shooting perfection and the exact repetition of the movement
