Ha!Ha!! Even across the pond you have tractors cutting through town! You'll see it everyday here in the Midwest...love Sheffield 😁

Lovely to see one of my favourite bits of Sheffield on here. The other classic cars are a later Mk2 Jaguar and an MG Midget (and a modern Skoda)

I'm really glad you're doing more places outside the city centre! Always been curious about bradfield and never had any reason to go before.

This was brilliant to watch, bringing back memories from 60+ years ago. I remember we would get the bus from Sheffield to Low Bradfield, have a walk round and watch a bit of cricket. I have a vague recollection of opening a gate and letting a couple of cows out onto the cricket field, while a game was on. I watched a video the other day on KZbin about the flood, something I didn't know about.

mid/late 60s, camping in Bradfield (upper I think?) many times. There's an old CRUCK Barn there nearby roadside Pub. Happy days! Cant remember Pubs name...

I remember residing at the Children's Home in BRADFIELD in the early 1960s. There used to be what was called a Flying Plank in the grounds which was fun back then. It would have been nice to see what became of the building is it derelict? or gone altogether and maybe been replaced by residential occupancies? Odd to think it is only seven miles from SHEFFIELD in my opinion. great video.

Was that Thornseat/Thornsett Lodge? If so, it’s pretty derelict, but the owners, the Hague family, wanted to turn it into a wedding venue. However, planning permission had been recommended for refusal at the Peak District planning meeting in June. I don’t know what the current status is, but if it is refused, judging on past history, I could see it being allowed to decay until it becomes unsafe then be demolished, leaving the owners free(er) to do what they want with the land.

Hi Emma yes it was Thoneseat Lodge thank you so much for the update I really appreciate you taking the time to make a post. I find it interesting how I do not remember the surrounding area only the home its self. BRADFORD is truly a picture rest place to live.
