Thanks Brother! I threw a tribute in for Big bro on this video - The first time I ever heard 10,000 light years from home, was from one of his many influential albums - Ziggy stardust, Jeff Beck, Faces, Small faces, New York dolls etc. But his Stones, Zepp, Sabbath & Pink Floyd albums got lots of play time. He would get upset when I listened to them at first, then realized I took better care of them than him...lol oh & Steve Marriott - he is particularly fond of Steve's solo work & of course the whole Humble Pie thing

Firstly, we in the community are always praying for you and yours! We're glad to have you back in action, but always make sure to take your time if you need it. As for that knife...Michael makes a great Barlow. The Yorkshire Oak he uses has a delightful look to it, I want a piece now. 😅 The quality may not be TEW Premier level 100% of the time, but they often outrank A. Wrights. Thanks Brother! I've been extremely satisfied with my English Barlows - they all have been flawless, near flawless. Usually have to touch up the edges a bit! lol Love this "Yorkshire Oak"! I will enjoy this one immensely 👊 Thanks for the info - not sure the difference between English Oak & American Oak, just know this one has the character I was looking for. Great video. Love bog oak and the story of its age and where it comes from. I ordered some bog oak axe wedges from Scotland that was thousands of years old. Hard as a rock but looks and holds amazingly. Glad to see you’re back and can’t wait to see more.

Michael has a reputation for, shall we say, variable output. I have about eight of his knives and they are all just as good as this one. he trained under Keith Moorby at Taylor’s Eye Witness, but bought a lot of his equipment from Trevor Ablett, hence a couple of pretty much unique designs, and an extensive use of Brass, rather than nickel silver, for his bolsters.
