However if someone did breach it, it's not the museum that has the issue, it's the artwork's owner. And the museum can't do anything to find out the who the owner can sue. It's also worth noting that copyright does not extend to sculptures and three dimensional structures such as buildings that can be seen from a public view point. So a statue can be photographed when it's on public view.

I equally find it staggering how armed police and milltary in a far more determined effort, have not been deployed to clean up Piccadilly Gardens and especially, to stop the flow of drugs coming into Manchester via the drug dealers, who should be targeted - drug dealing, trafficking and smuggling are all offences that should have the death penalty, as dealing in drugs is dealing in death

Snig Hill got its name from a wedge that hung on chains behind a horse drawn vehicle wheels, if the horse slipped or faulted the wedge would wedge rear wheel stopping it. I'm sure the city passed a law after a few accidents that the Snig ( Wedge) had to be use at all times on this hill. Hence the hills name.

The Peace Gardens are very much a triumph of urban landscape design. Very traditional materials with lots of lovely but simple carvings with raised grass areas making it difficult for people to walk across and wear it out.

The current U.K. laws on public filming and “taking photos” are something that even private security are “confused” about (wilfully ignorant?) and the GDPR is creating even greater confusion post-Brexit - a total ban on all public filming in all public spaces is doubtless coming very soon via Parliament, given the belligerent and authoritarian stance being taken by the Tories under Rishi Sunak and this would be even worse under a Labour government - other auditors post content onto KZbin and their interactions with the police raise concerns, where they take the side of private security - the private security firms act as if someone wanting to film in a public space has got “mental health issues” and is “argumentative” for insisting on their (current) legal rights to do so
