Sheffield Park & Garden - Dazzling Autumn Colours. Sussex.

An ancient estate, once the gift of kings, lies in the East Sussex countryside bounded to its south by the River Ouse.Water is the force of this magnificent garden where colour spills from the land into the water.
This great state , put together over centuries by Kings, nobility, farmers and wealthy landed gentry, was broken into pieces in the middle of 1900s. The National trust picked up some of this pieces in 1954, determined that the historic garden should not only achieve its former glory, but also be seen by a wider public.
Today Sheffield Park and Garden attracts visitors from around the world. They delight in a dazzling landscape garden were water reigns supreme, reflecting the ever changing splendour of majestic trees and colourful shrubs.

I do agree with you Pink Key. Autumn colours are so stunning, it takes your breath away and as do the colours of the flowers during summer time. This place is amazing whichever time of year. So, you can visit anytime and this place will not disappoint you.

Yes, leaves are most beautiful when they die. By shedding their leaves, trees are able to survive because they make room for new growth in the spring.
