Interesting set up at Rotherham was that a guard I seen at the start on the tram

It's a conductor not a guard these tram trains don't have guards panels these are also DOO driver only operation so he /she does the doors and driving.

Still is faster by train, between Sheffield and Rotterham, but tram is more often, so this can be tricky. I waiting for someone do the race: Sheffield-Rottherham one person by train, second by tram, third by bus, and last by pushbike (if possible) Start Sheffield Town Hall (Peace Gardens), and finish at All Saints Sq. Rotterham. Start at same time (eg. 9:00 mornig rush hour)
