Shehds 100W LED Spot with gobo and prism review

I wanted to share some footage of Shehds 100W moving head spots. There’s a number of reviews of these lights from others that are great, and go through all the details of about gobos, and prisms,…but there’s not a lot of footage of what these lights actually look like in a music venue….during a show…with other stage lights on. I have four of them set up on podiums across the back of the stage about 6 ft high. I also have a hazer running. This footage is at the High Noon Saloon in Madison Wisconsin. It’s a 400 capacity room that hosts local and national touring acts. The Artists is this footage are Paul Mitch, and the band Finding North. Check out their music. It’s great. The installed lights at the High Noon consist of 8 Chauvet LED Pars flown across the back. There are 3 ADJ pars on each side of the stage. And there are 5 white spots, and 2 ADJ pars in front of the stage. As you can see, These 100W Shehds moving head spots are pretty powerful. They cut through nicely. THIS is what people NEED! Show the lights into a REAL and LIVE stage...not 20 minutes about useless techincal descriptin and and show the light in their tiny room . Great job guy! thanks a lot

Hello from the central Wisconsin area. This came up on my feed because of my interest in these 100 watt lights years ago. I have had 6 of them in my productions and they are great for there price. Great video and your set looks awesome.

Hello, I just received mine. But I have a big problem. When I connect it to my DMX controller it restarts all the time. But it works in Auto and Sound mode. Need some help!

They're great. Solidly built. I've had them for a little under a year. no issues.

I had chinese moving heads for awhile but after getting ADJ moving heads I couldn’t go back. The build quality and performance of ADJ units is incomparable with the Chinese lights (in my opinion)

ADJ is absolutely a quality product. Chauvet,…Martin, etc. All built like tanks and have great service. The ADJ focus spot 2x is the 100w led equivalent to these Shehds lights. They are currently $1150/ea, or $4600 for four. The Shehds lights are $219/ea or $876 for four. If you have the budget to buy them, it’s definitely money we’ll spent. If your bank account doesn’t have $4600 extra in it, or you may not have a revenue stream from your light purchase that will pay off that debt, I don’t think you’re out of luck. These lights are pretty damn good quality for that value. If you take care of them, they’ll give you many shows. Mine have.

Not to the ground. It says 270 degrees on the website, which would mean 45 degrees down. but I don’t feel like it is that much. It looks more like 15-25 degrees down at the most.

@@DametuAlma If you're creating scenes for your band, and your music, I supposed you could get very specific for your material. If you play to a click, you could even program the whole show. I did a show at a music venue for bands that I did not know their material, so I just have a set of scenes that are chill....some that are medium, and some that are crazy.....and then I start with those, and add effects as the music dictates.

Is this best light for the money? That does beam light. And wash light?

Is it “the best?” It’s hard to answer that question. Probably depends on how you’re going to use it. It is definitely great value. Although I would not say this light is used as a true “beam” or “wash” light. It is a spot with hobos and prisms. If you’re looking for something that is used more as both a beam and a wash, I’d tell you to look at Shehds 19x15 wash zoom.
