i think the thing is not about sheik being good or bad, but about sheik feeling good to play, you need to put a lot of work for something that for other characters is way easier with the same effort, so for the common player it kinda sucks tbh

I've pulled off Dair to Upsmash but footstool to start it is just so quick and you have to be pretty confident it'll land. I bet that would be Larry's bread and butter if he ever picked up Shiek tho.

Late but the only person who kills with Sheik is Void. Everyone else who plays sheik, if they cant pop off her upair dragdown up smash, then they spam the living daylights out of her f smash. Same with Fox but with his Bairs (even Light spams that shit when he cant pop off his Fox combo lollll)

She does suck though. Voids literally the best in the world at the character so of course shes going to look good. Its like watching skyjay and saying incineroar is top 10 because of how good he is.

Shiek is not bad. She makes top 16 if not top 8 at every Japanese major. Void is just the only one who plays her in the US at a top level. Plus void's secondaries aren't quite as good for covering matchups as the Japanese shieks.
