I think it did stop void from climbing. He did much better in tourneys as pichu and although the loves playing sheik and is insane with her. In tourneys I have seen sheik get bodied my mid weights and heavy weight bc sheik survives like 2 hits

@@Dafin112 Yeah, that's the only problem with Sheik. With certain matchups or players Void has to play PERFECTLY to land a solid W. Pichu has solid kill power and destructive combos even for it's light weight. Sheik however does have combos, but her kill power is entirely reliant on setups and reads, and her deadly shield pressure is completely ruined with any character that has a good out of shield option (which Falcon doesn't have).

That was an absolutely amazing set. Two heavily buffed rushdown characters played by the best of each character. Falcon and Sheik seem to hard counter one another. Sheik destroys Falcon with the better movement, faster frame data, difficult to exploit recovery, and amazing edgeguarding power against Falcon's exploitable recovery.. but Falcon can hard counter Shiek with raw damage and kill power, powerful spikes that take early stocks, a fast command grab, and super armor. It's a two way street and incredibly volatile matchup between two of my favorite Smash players.

Man, the number of times one of Fatality's attacks got stuffed out by a quick Void button was immense. Seems like the neutral and ledge was tough, yes, but with enough space and quick dashbacks and shields, I could see it being doable. Pokemon stadium and Kalos seem to be the plays, along with back air and anything quick.

Type of Tournament are you watching? In the Top Ten alone, everyone plays different characters, except Tweek and Gluto and even, Tweek plays PT and Wolf as well. Ultimate has radically different Top 8's from Tourney to Tourney

Especially at bigger tourneys you see the same top players reaching the top spots and they generally play alot of the same characters you see alot of but not limited too Lucina, joker, peach, roy, wario, pkmn trainer, wolf,mario a few others. Contrary to popular belief, ironically mostly from people who don’t play Sheik, Sheik should NOT get more damage on her moves. Her combos are already pretty crazy to begin with. 15:26 To answer your question, that is a very little talked about Sheik technique called "Vanish gliding". If you input Up B and then quickly rotate the stick in a quarter circle in the direction you were launched from, Shiek will basically glide backwards. This can be done without having to be hit as long as you input Up B as soon as you run off any edge (including platforms) and rotate the stick back (quarter circle) in the opposite direction. You will glide back to the spot you last inputted Up B. There is a small margin for SDI as well for creativity. Good Sheik players know how to use this, although I don't see to many players doing it as an edge or platform poke, but only as a recovery.

I'm surprised by how Fatality approaches anti-airs. He almost never does up-airs at neutral, preferring instead to use any other options like b-air, and saving the up-airs for followups and when the opponent is in disadvantage.

To answer a question you posed a couple times in the vid When sheik up bs directly out of hitstun she gets an extra boost of lateral movement/momentum in the flip before the explosion. Example is at 4:50 Also you should talk more in between games about what info you're picking up on to take into future games. So viewers can understand what kind of things you're looking for when learning an unfamiliar matchup or how to apply new tools in matchups you already know
