Sheila E! 🤩😍I was a kid that her aunt was the school principal for! So very long ago but my elementary school principal was actually her real aunt ( her mom's sister). I truly was amazed by her instrumental skills & beauty. I always wished she would someday pop up to visit us lol. But I knew it was a very slim chance. I knew her of course from Prince- I adored him and purple is my favorite color bc of him in 💜 Rain.

Back when Countdown was the only music charts show on television 😅 we didn't have MTV yet in Belgium or Holland. Adam Curry was the host and all the international music stars of the eighties appeared at least once on his show, I believe. In this clip, I find him kinda rude towards Sheila E. she is so sweet and oh so talented and those outfits and the choreography, Wow! That was amazing and supercool. I always loved Sheila E.'s style and music. She is my number 1. 💯💯💯💃💐🍀🌺💜❤️ God bless and keep her. 🙏 Amén.
