Detroit native Sheila Jordan is one of the most widely acclaimed jazz vocalists in the world. I bow down. Too bad that in the United States we don't have a designation of excellence, so the masses would know something special is afoot with this one. Y'know, as in "Dame" Sheila Jordan.

I was lucky to see Sheila in Belfast a long time ago. I thought she was amazing as I had never heard of her before. I'm disappointed in myself that I don't have any of her records. After her performance I gave her a kiss on the cheek and thanked her for coming to Belfast. I must put this right, better late than never.

She was amazing at the Green Mill in Chicago. I felt very lucky. Hope she comes back. She kept saying her age at the show and that it might be her last… 93 now.

It is an improvisational depiction, but there is moderate tension. To impress the listener. I am thoroughly examining how to enjoy jazz and feel a completely different coloration. I enjoyed actively when I heard the performance contents. Have the best time.
