The trick to SHEIN is to always look at the reviews from people who ordered the item in the past. Most reviews have pictures with them and they have an option for the reviewer to choose “small” “true to size” or “large” I’ve ordered many times and because of that trick I’m never disappointed. 😘

Still rooting for a “come thrift with me” over here!!! Also the in-store try-ons where plus-sized clothes are sold would be great! I just hate to see anyone spending money and having the hassle of returning things. I get that this was informative but my mind would be so much more at ease if I knew there was going to be a higher success rate with your purchases because you could do the whole try-before-you-buy deal!

I truly enjoy almost every thing you have ever done on your channel, and I know the company reach for you but please don’t spend your money on these companies. They don’t deserve your money. Their working ethic (if it even existed) is terrible. I’m sure you’re aware of it and you do this probably only for the sake of KZbin. Still they don’t deserve it. I love watching your thrifting videos and how you find gems in a more ethical way. But these fast fashion hauls ... I feel like they don’t deserve your recognition and you definitely deserve better.

Thank you! I was going to comment about this as well. They 100% use sweat shops, employing people with no other opportunities due to their social status to work under horrible conditions for little to no money at all..it´s nearly slavery. It makes me sad that so many youtubers are doing this kind of thing now... Use this money to donate to someone who works with the people who suffer because of this industry Cassie

My only ASOS order was a swimsuit set- i was so excited because they appeared to have my bra size, turns out it was showing the american sizing, which is confusing and dumb. The top did not fit, but I kept the bottom. Still looking for a nice large bust swimsuit that doesn't look dumb and/or cost a million dollars. So watch out for the sizing either way I guess? Also I'd love to see an ASOS haul

You are a hoot! Job well done demo'ing "fast fashion" garments for ladies like us. I just recently stumbled on this fashion videos genre and enjoyed Patricia Bright immensely showing her "hauls". There are SO many girls of all sizes jumping on the band now. But it's the ladies like Patricia Bright and you who bring the personality edge needed to stay relevant and keep it real. Sort of a non recommendation, but I would NOT recommend Torrid swimsuits unless you don't want any smoothing or holding in. The fabric is SO flimsy, or was a couple years ago at least. I don't want "shaping" suits but they should have some structure and their's had none. It was the thinnest, saddest fabric.

oof Shein is an asian website. Asian sizes are smaller than US sizes and that's a known fact. The "one size" thing is not advertised as an "one size fits all", it just says "one size", which is the standard size for asian clothes, aka. a small to maybe a medium. Being shocked at the quality regarding the material, it's not like the fabric used in the making of each piece is written in the product's info like what, was it that hard to check? (Same goes for the actual real mesurements of each piece, if you're a medium in the US it doesn't mean you should just order that and expect to get someting that fits you from an asian website) So maybe do your research a little better next time?

A few things about Shein: yes, it is cheap, and the sizing runs small. When you hover your cursor over the size on an individual item, the actual measurements of the item pop up. With Shein, you have to check the measurements of every item rather than using the size chart. I learned this from KZbinr, Laura Burns, and it worked for the items I ordered. Still the fabrics are cheap. It helps to check the fabric content carefully before you order. I have had success returning items. When you go to your account at Shein and check "your orders" you can see how many packages were sent, track the packages, and you can print a return label. Shein will credit your account, but if you want the money instead of credit, you can request that, and the money goes back to your original form of payment. It's just an extra step that you need to be aware of. I am not a super fan, but it can be fun. I don't know anything about the other website.
