Shelby GT350 1400R Twin Turbo Overview

Built in 2018, John's GT350 was one of the first 1200R twin turbo builds. Making over 1300+ whp at the time this car was definitely no slouch. This year he decided it was time to kick things up a notch and upgrade to a 1400R build 😈
John's GT350 got several upgrades moving up to the 1400R package including newly designed 1400R spec Xona Rotor turbos and our new highly anticipated air-to-water billet intake manifold
We put this new combination to the test and it proved to be very effective ✅
1604 whp and 1089 ft lbs on e85 💪
Tuned w/ MoTeC M150 by Johnson Tuning
To top things off this build is flex fuel capable and still retains the factory A/C system, full interior, stock k-member, MagneRide suspension, etc. making it a car you can enjoy both on the street and track 👌

A lot of ???’s just what one is better supercharged or turbo ,, OR ,, twin turbos ,, or a pro-charger , ,, do you up grade the axel shafts to handle the horse power , what does get up graded to handle the horse power ,,, so you do not blow things out as easily , lot of ??’s point plank I would love my mach1 & my GT 5.0 with something under the hood that is a lot more heat than stock engines

Would that intercooled intake setup work with a centrifugal supercharged GT and a chiller killer without having to install a big beefy intercooler? Or is that over thinking something that isn’t an issue? Looking at different solutions for this crazy coastal SC heat.

Just curious is this customer in Colorado? Had a boosted gt350 pass me the other day and when I asked the owner what's the power he said it'd a Twin turbo setup making 1100 hp it was blue just like this ..I was at full throttle in my g35x passing 100 mph and he passed me like I was standing still lol..the one that passed me had a massive intercooler like this to..car wasn't as shiny tho was dirty to be honest..Driver was of some sort of Spanish descent possibly Mexican. Nice guy had his wife In the car I believe..was on i25 in Colorado

Is the gt500 ignition coil better than the gt350 coil? And are they a direct swap?

Yes they are better and pretty close. Ford performance offers a kit with the plug and pin kit for easy install
