Thank you for all of your lovely comments and support! Just a word of warning going forward after this video: I will be having to start shadow banning or blocking comments from people who continuously use the comments section to promote their own channels. I'm sympathetic as to what it is like to be starting out on KZbin, I was there a few years ago but I built my channel without spamming the channels of others and you can too! So, just a heads up if you want your comments to stay visible, PLEASE refrain from advertising your channel, business, company etc in the comments. It is against KZbin TOS and also just a bit annoying for everyone reading the comments.

Your mom keeps asking if Simon can be any cuter, just wait until he's all braided up and has a little kiddo he's packing around a hunter course. I think that'll be optimum cuteness right there haha!

"My little squidgey my little Suquidgey“ I’m dead 😂 They were so well behaved omg! I mean i expected rue to be calm since she has been calm from the start..but Simon was really nervous in the beginning he’s come such a long way and i can’t wait to see him become some kids pony

It just genuinely goes to show how far that patient, knowledgeable, and quality horse care/training will bring a horse who was literally borderline feral and afraid of humans, to trotting like the cutest freaking little pony under saddle. Loved seeing it develop with Milo (though his journey was a bit...buckier!) and I'm loving seeing it develop with Rue and especially Simon. I admire you so much!

Simon has amazed me from the get go! He's been such a good little man throughout and really tries for you, even from the beginning. He's just so adorable, cute, and is going to make someone really happy some day. Rue looks good as well, and so calm for her first time! You would deff think she has been backed before. I am just loving be able to watch the progress of both these beauties!

Roulette has obviously found her calling, she seems such a good solid, dependable character. Simon is adorable, it's lovely that he seems to look for your guidance in moments of insecurity. Great work as always!

Well done with them! You prepared them so well and made it the most stress free experience they could have! I just got a 3 year old that was backed for 30 days last spring (he came from an old school cowboy place that had him in giant shanked ported bits and big star spurs 🤦🏻♀️) we spent all year restarting him and getting him over some obvious traumas (I explain more on my channel of restarting Buck). It’s so nice to see you make it as stress free and reasonable for the horses as possible! Love this!

Oh I just love seeing happy ponies. You’re awesome with them. Poor George he needs a treat ball. I forget what brand name they are but my driving paso. Loves hers. I put hay pellets in it. I think I found mine for 20 usd. Great for a stall rest horse or one who needs to eat slow. But still love the ponies being so happy. It’s sad seeing so many of them hating life. I don't think (most) people who try to say or ask if the ponies have been handled/broke before are really trying to do it maliciously as a way to discredit your ability as a trainer? I can see where it would feel like that is the case considering the nature of a lot of critical and hateful commentary you get for...pretty much just existing and being successful. But I think they've been misled to believe, due largely to clinicians and trainers who are known to amp up young horses in colt starting clinics and videos so that their reactions are more exciting and dramatic to the audience watching them, that it's perfectly normal for a horse to lose it's marbles the first time it's saddled regardless of how much other work has been put into preparing them for it. These same people tend not to have a good grasp on how individually every horse has a different comfort level and that we're supposed to accommodate those in our own training programs rather than try to force the horse to fit the program. Same reason why they think you should already be riding Simon and Rue w/t/c on their first couple of rides and pulling a one-rein stop every 30 seconds, because they generally don't know any other way of training and are more likely to believe that the way they know how to do everything is the Only Correct Way when it's not because it's easier for us to reject what is unfamiliar.
@Milestone-Equestrian5 жыл бұрын
Oh no, I don't think it's malicious at all but it is still a bit irritating especially when it is very publicized how nervous Simon was when I got him, it was pretty clear he couldn't have been ridden in that state/
