@@MrZobiwan There's lots of BTS clips you can watch where you see there's a live audience. Also, the actors pause after their delivery to let the audience finish laughing before they start up again. And you can hear individual people laughing sometimes when soemthing is particularly funny, like even in this clip you can hear someone with a very high laugh having hysterics. Compare this to a show like Two and a Half Men that uses a laugh track and you'll see the difference.

I think the makers of The Big Bang Theory has missed a great opportunity. Its very clear everyone thinks no one watched Fun With Flags, but they could have written an episode that has Sheldon Cooped at the comic book store and a few hot model "groupies" turn out to be huge fans of Sheldon as they get high watching the show. It would be funny to see Howard's reaction to some nerdy supermodels gushing over Sheldon and Amy steamed out of her mind that Sheldon has such admirers. Then there is a huge fight because Amy wants him to stop making the show and then realizes she is dating someone famous for his mind and his odd internet show. Everyone sees Sheldon in a new light.
