Every Christmas for 35+ years I have made crocheted dish cloths and hot pads for my family and friends. My daughter and I came up with a project we call hot mats: double hot pads, approximately 9 by 13.

I've just about finished the project. I need to add the straps. This is the first project I have ever tried crocheting, holding two strands of yarn together. It took a bit of getting used to. However, I'm really happy with the result. Coincidentally and with my gauge, it makes a perfect cover for my mac book plus all my accessories. However, I'm not sure that the tote bag could actually withstand the weight of the mac book. Great project. I had so much fun making it. Thank you @Jayda InStitches.

Hi Allan! That's fantastic! If you used cotton, it will stand up to some wear, but a Mac Book might be a bit "dear" to trust to a crochet bag 😉 Having said that, if you're going to shove your Mac into a suitcase, this would be just enough of a sleeve to keep it protected during travel (I do that)!

😱 nice😍 I'm a begener I understand all the stitches I just watch since I had eye surgery on Feb on my right eye n in march on my left I had cataracts I still see what they called floaters spots more on my right eye I had to put eye drops again for 3 weeks the surgeon said that I might need a second sergery on my right eye but thanks God I don't ther keeping an eye on me 😀thank you for sharing love your videos you have a calm voice 😃👍😍🙏✋

Hi Jada, I was unable to find these huge yarn ball so I ordered online. I’m also TRYING to make the variegated yarn holder bag with the 2 big buttons. I can’t tell you how many times I watched this video and that yarn holder bag😢. I totally understand the stitches and instructions but had to “frog” it several times. I asked myself if most of my brain cells died while suffering from Covid for the last 6 1/2 mos 😵‍💫. I decided I’m sure I messed up on the 2nd row in placing the stitches in the right spot. So I am going to purchase the pattern, finish watching this video again, then watch the other video AGAIN. Your such a happy person, a ray of sunshine so I enjoy watching.
