The color of the sand and water transitioning as it goes out deeper turns green to teal and turns to a beautiful dark blue. Thanks for the walk and the relaxation of the waves......Janet.

Love those bittersweets and flats. Which wind direction brings in the best shells? Where do you shell in relation to the pier on Navarre Beach? Beautiful shots of the water and clouds!

I've shelled by the pier, east of the pier, and west of the pier. The key is to go to where the shells are and to not be constrained to "spots". If there aren't any shells, drive somewhere else or walk another mile or two or head to another beach. And maybe, if there aren't any on the beach, dive underwater for a look around. What location do you usually stop at?

Hi Kathy, on my way to Pensacola I'll usually stop at several crossovers to scout. When the shells are in the beach will be covered from east to west. When it comes to shell beds, sometimes what you find by the pier may be a mile or two away the next day. That's why it's so important to be mobile. Happy shelling. 🐚😎🌴
