The way the over tones ring, even more so on the 13s is just incredible. The way he played the root on the hijaz had such a tambla feel. I will probably buy one in this scale thanks to this vid. Been following this artist since he had the dreads and it never ceases to amaze me at the melodies he finds. A wonderful instrument with the right artist to demonstrate it.

hey man! I was wondering if you could steer me in the right direction. I really want to have a custom handpan in the scale of an Alice in chains song, called Down in a Hole. my late best friend had just passed and we would jam to that song as kids (i know ironic the name) but what pan sonically would compliment that song? weather its a certain style, maker, ect. and what would the scale be? Hello, D Dorian / A Aeolian 10 + 1 octatonic bottom note (F#) should work quite well for this song... the maker will have to take care that D and Dm chords are playable with the layout of the instrument !
