Hey Roberto! Thanks for all your videos and tutorials. Keep up the good work! I have one question... I'm in the process of building my PV on the roof and I have in mind to automate consumption as much as possible in relation to solar power production. I'm planning also smart power meter for my heat-pump I was considering also shelly em. What is your experience with measuring 3 phase with one clamp? My HP is on 3x20A fuse in breaker box but corresponding to HP manual the maximal amperage is 3x16A... should I go with 120A? Or 50A is enough? What do you think? Thanks for the video Roberto. I got started with Home Assistant (HA) a couple of moths ago and was using a DIN mount WiFi meter, but it stopped communicating with HA a couple of weeks ago and can't get it to work. Seems like its not well supported in HA. I think this Shelly EM will be a great replacement.

Shelly 2EM can only measure on one phase, one hot wire line. It is not suitable for three-phase power. The Shelly 2EM can distinguish power consumption and power from the solar system. The Shelly 1PM cannot tell the difference.

Hi Jorge your review convinced me to buy the em . Not sure if noticed that the em after 999.99 kw-hr will display 1.00Mw-hr , then you loose the last value of precision on how many kw-hrs.

Great video 🙂 correct me if I'm wrong but you can monitor two different devices ( circuits) for consumption with shelly em? It's not that one clamp is exclusively for usage and another one exclusively for production

HI , I love your vides, I have a question for you: I am using the second shelly em current transformer to measure my Solar production, but is negative, I have tried changing the unit to -1, so the graph is right, but it reverts back to 1, how can you resolve that? Thanks

Hello! I have a PV array and I an searching for a device or hub or solution through which I can be able to start the electric underfloor heating only when the PV produce enough energy. The electric underfloor heating has thermostat in each room and a separate independent fuse for each underfloor electric circuit. I have a Huawei inverter. Do you think this Shelly can do this, please? Thanks

how do you measure the last phase with two module only? so RST or L1 L2 L3 you can only use for 2 phase..

Is it possible to gather hourly data for an entire month. I need this type of info as I am looking at real savings compared to no pv isntallation (my previous one). So in order to compare before and after, I need the info for an entire month (invoicing period) in an hourouly basis. Is possible to get the data on CSV or similar? Many thanks

Boas Roberto. O meu shelly EM com o clamp de 50A mostra me 0W, quando ligo eletrodomésticos como microondas aumenta me para 3W no entanto fico desiludido porque tenho o fixo com uma GTX 1070+ 3 TVs ligadas + 1 NAS com 2 hdds 8TB red pro + Fitas Led em 2 divisões ligadas + Boxs e outros pequenos aparelhos tudo ligado e no mostrador apresenta me 0W... A sensibilidade do Shelly é assim tão fraca? (Tenho ligado o clamp ao cabo que alimenta o quadro)
